When you're not watching TV, Art Mode transforms the screen into a digital artwork display. Choose from complimentary curated pieces, display your own photography, or access Samsung Art Store, which offers a collection of more than 5,000 artworks with a subscription.
A built-in Motion Sensor can detect when someone enters the room and automatically display your selected artwork, then switch the display off when the room is empty to help reduce unnecessary energy use.
Glare Free QLED Display
The 85-inch QLED 4K display combines Quantum Dot colour technology with Samsung's advanced Glare Free screen treatment. It is designed to significantly reduce reflections and glare from windows and indoor lighting, helping artwork and entertainment maintain excellent visibility in bright rooms.
The display is also PANTONE Validated, helping reproduce lifelike colour tones for both artwork and everyday viewing.
NQ4 AI Gen2 Processor & 4K AI Upscaling
At the heart of The Frame is Samsung's NQ4 AI Gen2 Processor, which intelligently analyses content to optimise picture and sound. 4K AI Upscaling enhances lower-resolution content towards 4K quality, while Quantum HDR, HDR10+ Adaptive and Real Depth Enhancer help deliver improved contrast, detail and depth.
Smooth 144Hz Gaming Performance
Despite its art-focused design, the QA85LS03HEWXXY is also a highly capable gaming TV. It features a 100Hz native panel with up to 144Hz VRR, supported across all four HDMI inputs.
Motion Xcelerator 144Hz, AMD FreeSync Premium, VRR, ALLM, Game Bar, Gaming Hub and AI Auto Game Mode provide smooth and responsive gameplay when connected to compatible gaming consoles or PCs.
Dolby Atmos & Intelligent Sound
The built-in 20W 2-channel sound system supports Dolby Atmos, while Object Tracking Sound Lite creates a more immersive audio experience by helping sound follow the action on screen.
When paired with a compatible Samsung soundbar, Q-Symphony allows the TV speakers and soundbar to work together rather than replacing the TV speakers entirely. Adaptive Sound Pro and Active Voice Amplifier Pro further optimise dialogue and audio according to the content and room environment.
Samsung Vision AI & Tizen Smart TV
Powered by Tizen™ Smart TV, The Frame gives you access to major streaming services, Samsung TV Plus, SmartThings and connected home features.
Samsung Vision AI features include AI picture optimisation, AI sound control and other intelligent functions designed to automatically adjust the viewing experience. The TV also supports Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant compatibility, Bixby, Apple AirPlay 2, SmartThings and Multi View. Samsung states that Tizen OS upgrades are supported for seven years from the model's release period.
Designed to Look Like a Picture Frame
At only 29.5mm deep without the stand, the QA85LS03HEWXXY has been designed to sit close to the wall using the included Slim Fit Wall Mount. Optional Samsung magnetic bezels can also be added to customise the appearance and better match your interior décor.

The Brightness Sensor detects ambient light and auto-adjusts the screen's brightness and colour tone to retain the artwork's original look. It even adapts to changing light conditions, so you can enjoy artwork looking almost as real as the canvas .*
Motion Sensor
With a motion sensor, The Frame detects when you’ve entered the room and automatically turns on to display your artwork. When it detects that you've left the room, it'll switch off to help conserve energy.*
